I haven't been to Zoo Boise for awhile now. I was actually impressed with some of the new things that are there. I was a little disappointed that a good portion of the animals were hiding. They do have a new lion exhibit that is home for three lions. They have a good section of glass that is right up against the cage so you can basically go toe to toe with the male lion that has no problem strutting back and forth in front of it. It is much like the tiger exhibit pictured above but bigger. Ry kept getting close to the glass and then jump away as the lion got closer. All in all it was a fun little trip down memory lane.

How fun! We are trying to plan on visiting in august. Make sure to leave some fun things for is to do... But not the bad guy hunting.
