Finally Warm

The sun as finally decide to come out and bless the ND area with some warm weather. It was really nice the last couple of days and Cole and I spend the majority of it outside. I took him to this little creek that runs through the campus and we decided to throw rock into it. The third picture is him throwing a rock with each hand.

There are lots of little ground animals in which I have no idea what they are called, but Cole really enjoys running after them. They are really quick and Cole hasn't figured out that he needs to be quiet and sneak up on them. The picture below is of one of these animals, you can see the hole he runs into just above and to the right of the animal (which is centered in the pic).

I came across this quote the other day, and for some reason it has really stuck in my mind. Most likely because it really applies to me right now. "You don't have to stay up nights to succeed; you have to stay awake days." How true this is. That quote applies to me because by its definition I am not succeeding, but I am hanging on with everything that I have got not to stay up too late.

Hey, hope you are holding everything together for the end of your semester!! Not too much longer to go. Just think, you won't have to be in the cold weather for an entire Winter again. Only half! Enjoy the heat!

Hey, thanks for the info about the house. Yea, I am not a huge fan about the office connecting to the master bedroom but there is a little bit of construction done on that part and it wasn't finished. We aren't quite sure what they were doing but rather than making a wall out of a pocket door we thought that maybe we could enclose it on the office side and make it an extra storage space in the master bath (like for towels or like an ironing board or something). The nice thing is other than a little painting the home is move in ready (after a deep cleaning of course) and that is good for us because we don't have a ton of time to spend doing major projects. I believe that the tile floors were put in when the house was built two years ago but we'll see what the inspector says, that is if they took our offer. We'll know more by Tuesday where we stand. This house dropped 20,000 last Tuesday and when we saw it on Friday we knew it wasn't going to last and we decided to put an offer in on Saturday and someone else was also putting one in so we'll see. God will work it all out.

Hey, mom said that you might be in Idaho for a short break in August. Are you for sure and when would that possibly be? We were planning on going to Texas to meet with Ben's first mom's side of the family but if you will be in Idaho in August and we have the vacation time set up we might be able to come at the same time!! We'd love to see you and Cole since it's been a while. Otherwise we might wait until Christmas when you all will hopefully be there after you are finished with school. Anyway, let me know so we can continue to plan. The summer is coming soon! Are you getting finished with your classes yet????
